Shelley Duchesne
Shelley Duchesne
Director of Religious Education

Shelley is the Administrator for the UUFF religious education program, including recruitment of volunteer teachers. She is responsible for the curriculum assessment and implementation for the RE classes.

Shelley received her BA in Social Sciences with emphasis in creative activism. She is an education activist and an artist.

Renee Janski
Renée Janski
Music Director

Renée oversees the music program at UUFF. She directs the choir and leads initiatives to involve new members in music and music ensembles, including a children's choir.

Renée earned her Bachelor of Music Performance Degree with an emphasis on opera from the University of Central Arkansas. She has performed a variety of roles in Regional Opera Companies, and has directed both adult and children's choirs in Little Rock and Fayetteville.

Emeritus Professor of Music at the U of A (1982-2008); M.A. and Ph.D from U. Washington School of Music in Seattle (1979, 1982); Currently piano instructor at the Suzuki School of Music in Fayetteville and Director of the Butcher-Detels 4-Hand Piano Duo (affiliated with Arkansas Artists on Tour)

Melanie Dietzel
Melanie Dietzel
Administrator

Melanie maintains administrative responsibilities and support for all of the operations of the church. Her office hours are Monday and Tuesday 9:00 - 1:00 and Wednesday through Friday 1:00 - 6:00.

Melanie has a BA in English with emphasis on creative writing. Her work away from the fellowship is in social activism. She is active in NOW (National Organization for Women) and Omni Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology.

Courtney Montgomery-Burnett

Nursery Care Coordinator

Courtney provides nursery care for infants and children up to age four in the UUFF nursery on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Courtney is the mother of 3 daughters and an active member of UUFF. She is involved in environmental programs and is passionate about teaching children to grow up considerate of each other and of our Earth. Courtney loves to play with the kids and considers her job in the nursery to be a lot of fun!

Jerry Letterman
Jerry Letterman
Custodian

Jerry works part time maintaining the up keep of the main UUFF building and annex.

Jerry also works part time in another custodial job, helps care for a disabled person, and offers support to older folks in his neighborhood.
